Scott and Kristen Boehnlein reside in Chardon, Ohio and founded New Creation Children’s Ministry. They are the third owners of their century farm, which operates as a large sugar bush, producing pure maple syrup. The children residing on the farm are fully involved in all of the farm’s work, which has helped develop a sense of accomplishment and self esteem in these youth. Taking these hurting children, which primarily come from violent and abusive homes, has been a passion of Scott and Kristen’s for years. They have found that incorporating these kids in their work has given them a sense of self worth, which in return inspires them to overcome their past and move on into a healthy and fulfilling future. Giving them the warmth of a welcoming home, warm meals and a safe haven draws these youth in to feel the unconditional love of a family.
